In the period 2003 – 2012 organic area has increased 11times and now represents approximately 3.4 % of the total area used for agriculture in Poland.

The key imported products are processed products, exotic fruits, spring vegetables tea and coffee, dairy products.

The market of organic products is growing slowly but continuously. Organic products can now also be found in conventional shops and supermarkets. Other strong market channels are: covered markets, direct sale to consumers, internet shops.
