The IV European Bioeconomy Congress, organised by the Marshal’s Office of the Lodzkie Region, will be held at EC1 – the oldest power station of Lodz, now revitalised and adapted, on 6-7 October 2016. This year’s, fourth edition of the Bioeconomy Congress is a two day event, organised as part of the Bioeconomy Week, with an active participation of representatives of business circles, regional governments, academic communities, business environment organisations and institutions from Poland and from abroad, who support the development of bioeconomy. The part of Bioeconomy Week will be 9th International Organic And Natural Food Fair NATURA FOOD and 5th Ecological Lifestyle Fair beECO (7-9.10.2016).
The purpose of the Congress is to create a friendly atmosphere around the innovative, effective and competitive approach to activities intended to support the development of bioeconomy. It is an excellent opportunity to share knowledge and experience with guests from all over the world, as well as to establish new business contacts.
The objective of the Congress is to bring its participants up to date on current strategies and initiatives that enable the development of bioeconomy in the European Union, as well as to intensify the collaboration between regions of Central and Eastern Europe.
The NATURE FOOD and beECO fairs are two complementary, unique ecological events, dedicated to eco-products, eco-foods, as well as traditional and regional natural products. Both events are very strong brands on the Polish market. It is also an ideal place to find about international trends in the development of organic agriculture and related industries, as well as an excellent opportunity to contact market participants directly.. The project attracts nearly 350 Polish and foreign exhibitors every year.
NATURA FOOD and beECO are very popular among all those interested in bioproducts, ecological cosmetics and everyday accessories, traditional products and environment-friendly materials. Over 50% of visitors are business managers, farmers, representatives of manufacturing and processing plants, distributors and shop owners.
